The Survival Knife
Any survival expert will tell you that a good knife is a critical tool to carry with you wherever you go. A knife is especially important during a survival situation. A knife helps you build a shelter, collect firewood, prepare a meal and many other tasks. The SOL Core Lite includes a 1.75" AUS-8 Japanese steel blade specifically designed to be more durable and easier to sharpen than standard steel. The drop-point blade locks into place with a locking liner and has a hollow grind blade design for an exceptionally sharp edge. The longer handle constructed from tough ABS plastic gives you great blade control when stripping bark or whittling.

The Rescue Whistle
Incorporated in knife handle is a 100dB Rescue Whistle. The pealess, fail-safe design of this whistle means there are no parts to break or corrode. It also means that the whistle will work in almost any condition you encounter. At 100dB, rescuers can hear you from over 1 mile away.

The LED Flashlight
Built into the handle just to the side of the knife blade lies a 10 lumen LED flashlight. This flashlight has simple on/off operation and runs for up to 15 hours on two CR1220 coin cell batteries. The LED bulb is directed down the blade to illuminate your work while using the knife and is bright enough to use to find your way in the dark. There's even a clip on the case to attach the tool to a hat or other apparel for "hands-free" use.
