Compact and Durable - Perfect for Aviation
The HeartSine Samaritan PAD used advanced technology making the unit half the size of other AEDs and weighing only 2.4 lbs. With a IP56 rating, the Samaritan is protected against dust and water while also resisting shock and vibration. Each unit also comes with a 7 year manufacturer warranty. The Samaritan can go almost anywhere!
The Samaritain is also compliant for Aviation use under RTCA / DO-160D:1997 (Section 21 Only Category M)
Easy to Use
The Samaritan features easy to understand visual and audible prompts that guide a user through the process with only two buttons to press, "ON" and "SHOCK". The Samaritan uses a System Status indicator, flashing to let you know it is operational and ready to use. It also performs a self-check every week to ensure that the unit is ready when you need it to be. By combining the battery and electrode pads into one expiration date so you can easily know when to replace these parts. With an extended shelf-life of 3.5 years from manufacture means significant savings over other AEDs that require you to replace separate battery and pad units.
