It also utilizes a 121.5MHz homing signal frequency and a built-in 50 channel GPS to accurately direct rescue operations to your location. The Kannad XS-4 also includes a flashing SOS LED light to aid in night time rescue operations. With it's replaceable battery, the XS-4 will operate a minimum of 24 hours continuously (even in temperatures down to -20°C), giving rescuers the best chance to locate you in time. The Kannad XS-4 contains a replaceable battery with a 5 year shelf life so there's no need for frequent battery changes or recharging. All of these features from a unit the size of an average cell phone.
