The -40°C battery version of the Fastfind has a slightly higher profile than the -20°C version due to the larger battery. The -40°C PLB battery operates in temperatures up to +55°C and has a 5 year storage life. Once activated, the Fastfind will operate for a minimum of 24 hours. The battery is owner replaceable.
